The Administration & Membership Services Officer will play an important role in supporting Turf Australia's members and the smooth operation of the association. This is a diverse part-time role suited to someone who enjoys working across administration, bookkeeping, member communication and social media in a small, friendly association environment. Working Monday to Friday from 9:30am to 2:30pm, you will provide day-to-day administrative support to the organisation and report directly to the Association Manager.
Key responsibilities
General office administration and organisational support
Providing administrative support to the Association Manager
Responding to member enquiries by phone and email
Maintaining membership records and databases
Processing membership renewals and assisting with membership services
Basic bookkeeping, accounts payable and accounts receivable
Raising invoices and recording payments
Assisting with financial record keeping and reconciliation
Maintaining and updating Turf Australia's social media channels
Preparing and scheduling social media posts
About you
Previous administration or office experience
Good written and verbal communication skills




Robust attention to detail
Good organisational and time-management skills
Experience with bookkeeping or accounting software
Confidence using Microsoft Office and general computer systems
Experience using social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn
A professional and friendly approach when dealing with members and stakeholders
The ability to work independently and take responsibility for day-to-day tasks
