About the Role
As a Welder / Boilermaker at GSL Fab, you will play a key role in the fabrication and production of our industry-leading stainless steel performance products.
Your responsibilities will include:
Fabricating and TIG welding stainless steel products to a high standard
Assembling and welding laser-cut stainless steel components
Marking, cutting, grinding, and preparing stainless steel and aluminium materials
Reading and interpreting fabrication drawings
Carrying out custom fabrication work and product development when required




Conducting quality checks to ensure products meet company standards
Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe work environment
Following all workplace health and safety procedures
Supporting the wider production team as required
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Trade qualifications as a Boilermaker, Welder, Fabricator, or equivalent
Proven TIG welding experience
Experience working with stainless steel (essential)
Experience working with aluminium (highly regarded)
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Ability to work efficiently while meeting production deadlines
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
A motivated and enthusiastic attitude with a willingness to learn
Excellent problem-solving skills and initiative
Commitment to workplace health and safety
Current Australian driver's licence
Full Australian working rights

Work Hours
Enjoy an excellent work-life balance with our workshop operating hours:
Monday to Thursday: 7:00am - 5:00pm
Friday: 7:00am - 11:00am
That's an early finish every Friday to get a head start on the weekend.
