Regional HSE Advisor (Senior) - NSW/VIC/ACT
Reporting to the National HSE Manager, you will be the senior HSE support for the project and plant teams across NSW and VIC, with 15+ months of work ahead. Current teams are based around:
Bendigo and Echuca (VIC)
Deniliquin and the Riverina (NSW)
Canberra and the Snowy region
Gloucester (NSW Mid North Coast)
It is an advisory role with real ownership: you will coach project teams, and you will also run risk registers and lead HSE set-up on recent projects.
What you'll do
Give practical HSE advice and coaching to project managers, supervisors and crews
Visit sites regularly for inspections, critical risk control verification and assurance
Lead HSE input to project start-ups: HSE plans, risk registers and site set-up
Lead or support incident investigations (ICAM) and verify corrective actions close out
Run audits and track performance trends across the region




Support environmental compliance and approval conditions on site
Help embed and improve Leed's HSE management system
What you'll bring
Senior HSE Advisor experience in civil construction, water, utilities or energy
Cert IV WHS minimum; Diploma or higher well regarded
Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor qualification highly regarded
ICAM or similar investigation training highly regarded
A practical, hands-on way of delivering, and the credibility to influence site leaders
Willingness to travel regularly across NSW and VIC, with overnight stays
Pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening
