Position Summary Supervises and participates in the daily operations of the Accounts Payable team.
Supports the Accounts Payable Manager in supervising the day to day operations and duties of the Accounts Payable Officers with a key focus on respecting our vendors through accurate and on-time payment.
Develops, coaches and encourages the AP team to ensure a high level of productivityand accuracy in the processing and payment of accounts.
• Team Player - Relates well with a variety of personalities and infividuals and participates in a professional manner to complete the business goal.
•Creates a positive morale by recognising conflict and working quickly to solve problems .




Qualifications (Costco-specific or industry specific skills that candidates should possess) Education/Training: Tertiary study in accounting is preferred Licenses/Certifications: None Experience/Skills: 2 years Accounts Payable or comparable experience Strong Microsoft Excel skills Strong written and verbal communication and active listening skills Strong interpersonal, organisation and problem solving skills Proficient in the use of Financial Accounting software and Microsoft office Well organised and able to follow issues through to completion Proactive and seeks out learning opportunities Approaches new tasks with enthusiasm and a positive attitude Mathematical and problem solving skills Well organized and able to follow issues Well organized and able to follow issues through to completion Ability to delegate responsibilities effectively Flexible with the ability to multi-task and adjust work to meet business needs High energy.
