Site Managers – Commercial Construction | Expressions of Interest

About the opportunity
As a Site Manager, you'll take ownership of day-to-day site operations, leading your team and subcontractors to deliver commercial projects safely, on program and to a high standard. You'll work closely with Project Managers, Site Engineers, consultants and clients from site establishment through to practical completion and handover.
Typical responsibilities include:
Leading all site activities, including site establishment, logistics and sequencing
Managing and coordinating subcontractors, trades and site personnel
Driving a strong safety culture and ensuring WHS compliance across the site
Monitoring program, progress and productivity, and resolving issues as they arise
Overseeing quality control, inspections, ITPs and defect management
Liaising with consultants, authorities and clients on site matters




Mentoring and developing Site Engineers and Foremen
About you
You're a confident leader who knows how to run a site and keep a project moving. Ideally you'll have:
Proven experience as a Site Manager on commercial projects, such as education, health, retail, aged care or multi-residential
Strong knowledge of construction methodology, programming and sequencing
A genuine commitment to safety and quality
Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
The ability to build strong working relationships with subcontractors and clients
A trade background or tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, will be well regarded.
