About the Role
The Cleaning Services Assistant is responsible for providing cleaning services that contribute to a safe, clean, and home-like environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
Key Duties and Responsibilities




Provide cleaning services in accordance with established cleaning schedules.
Mopping, vacuuming, floor polishing, carpet cleaning, dusting, waste management, and restocking supplies.
Assist with laundry duties as required.
Maintain accurate records of completed cleaning tasks.
Ensure safe storage and appropriate use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Participate in infection prevention and control practices.
Contribute to a safe environment by ensuring cleaning equipment does not obstruct exits or walkways.
Undertake other duties within your skills and experience as directed by the organisation.
Essential Requirements
Previous cleaning experience or relevant training.
Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
Knowledge and experience in the safe handling of cleaning chemicals.
Current Australian Driver's Licence.
Previous experience in residential aged care is desirable.
Understanding of infection control principles and workplace safety practices.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
