About the role As a Ministry Assistant, this is your opportunity to support and grow a vibrant Corps community through worship, discipleship, pastoral care and community engagement initiatives.
Reporting to the Mission Leader, this is a permanent, part time role offering 3 days a week (22.8 hours),



based in Queanbeyan, NSW How you will make an impact Support worship services, Bible studies and discipleship activities that strengthen faith and community connection.
Coordinate and support volunteers, helping deliver impactful Corps and community programs.
Provide pastoral care and assist with faith-based activities aligned to local mission priorities.
Build positive relationships with community groups, schools, local organisations and key stakeholders.
Contribute to community engagement and fundraising initiatives that support local mission outcomes.
Assist with administration, program coordination and day-to-day operations to ensure effective service delivery.
What you will bring A commitment to the Christian faith and mission of The Salvation Army An ability to offer pastoral assistance, to offer prayer and to explain the Christian Gospel Experience in a Ministry position (desirable) A solid understanding of TSA Doctrines
