Job DescriptionWe are seeking a compassionate and experienced Assistant in Nursing (AIN) to provide high quality, person centred care to a participant living in the Schofields area.This is an excellent opportunity for an AIN with experience supporting individuals with complex physical care needs.
The role involves providing personal care, medication assistance, manual handling, transfers using a ceiling hoist, and supporting the participant with daily living activities in their home.Key Responsibilities:Assist with personal care and daily living activitiesSupport with protected transfers using a ceiling hoistProvide manual handling assistance following safe work practicesAssist with domestic duties including household tasksSupport with meal preparationProvide transport and community access support where requiredMaintain professional boundaries and provide reliable, consistent supportAbout You:Female (essential due to participant preference)Experience in using a ceiling hoist for transfer (Essential)Highly preferred to have experience administering medications,



including injectionsFluent in English and able to communicate effectivelyHonest, reliable, punctual, and professionalExperienced in disability support and personal careConfident with manual handling and transfersExperienced using ceiling hoists (essential)Compassionate and respectful when supporting participants with complex mobility needsPrevious disability support experienceExperience with ceiling hoists and transfersCurrent NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to obtain)First Aid & CPR CertificateWorking rights in AustraliaReliable transport and driver's licence preferredShift AvailabilityOngoing shifts available, commencing with:Tuesday: 7:00am – 1:00pmPotential for additional ongoing shifts based on participant needs and your availability.Why Join Us?
