You'll oversee bookkeeping responsibilities across multiple entities, working closely with directors and operations teams.
This role combines day-to-day financial management with strategic analysis to help strengthen financial reporting and identify operational efficiencies.Key responsibilitiesOversee accounts payable and receivable, invoicing and payment follow-upPerform bank and credit card reconciliationsManage payroll, superannuation and employee entitlement recordsProcess intercompany transactions and reconciliationsPrepare BAS and coordinate with external accountantMonitor cash flow and produce regular financial reportingMaintain accurate records and improve financial processesAnalyse labour, materials, vehicle, supplier and overhead costsReview profitability across jobs, contracts,



trades and entitiesCompare actual costs against budgets and identify efficiency opportunitiesAbout youMinimum of five years' bookkeeping experienceStrong working knowledge of Xero and confidence using ExcelSolid payroll experience; experience with Tanda would be highly regardedAbility to analyse costs and produce practical management reportsAccuracy, initiative and confidence to recommend improvementsGenuine interest in growing with the company and taking on greater responsibilityExperience in trades, construction or a service business would be highly regardedAbout usEgan Brothers Facility Specialists delivers plumbing, electrical, HVAC and building maintenance services across Victoria.
