We're looking for a proactive and organised Finance Administrator to join our team in a cross-functional finance role, working across Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.While Accounts Receivable and debt collection will be a key focus, this isn't a role that sits within one finance function.
You'll work across AR and AP, moving between priorities as required and taking ownership of the tasks that need to get done.What you'll be doingManaging Accounts Receivable and maintaining accurate customer accountsProactively following up overdue accounts and chasing outstanding debtSpeaking with customers regarding payments, account queries and outstanding balancesReceipting and allocating customer paymentsFollowing up payment commitments and resolving discrepanciesCompleting account and bank reconciliationsProcessing supplier invoices and paymentsManaging supplier queries and account reconciliationsWorking across both Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable as business priorities requireMaintaining accurate financial data and completing high-volume data entryWorking with different teams across the business to resolve account and invoice queriesWhat we're looking forWe're looking for someone who enjoys working across different areas and is comfortable moving between AR and AP rather than being tied to one function.You'll bring:Accounts Receivable, credit control or finance administration experienceAccounts Payable experienceConfidence chasing outstanding debt and having payment conversations with customersStrong customer service and communication skillsExcellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracyStrong attention to detail and follow-throughA flexible and team-focused approachThe ability to shift priorities when the finance team needs itAccounts Payable experience would be highly regardedConfidence using accounting systems and Microsoft ExcelWhy this role?
