We're looking for a motivatedGardenerto join our team and help maintain and enhance the parks, gardens, reserves, and open spaces enjoyed by our community.This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys variety, working outdoors, and being part of a team that takes pride in delivering attractive, safe and welcoming public spaces.What you'll be doingAs part of our Parks & Gardens team, you'll contribute to the day-to-day presentation and maintenance of our outdoor spaces.
Your work may include:Maintaining parks, gardens, reserves and other public open spacesMowing, brush cutting, edging and general grounds maintenancePlanting, pruning, mulching and maintaining trees, shrubs and garden bedsWeed control and general horticultural activitiesOperating and maintaining relevant plant, machinery and equipmentAssisting with the establishment and improvement of landscaped areasSupporting seasonal and programmed maintenance activitiesWorking safely and efficiently as part of a practical, collaborative team.What we're looking forWe're looking for someone who enjoys getting stuck in and takes genuine pride in their work.
Ideally,
