We are seeking a Financial Controller to bring strong financial stewardship, commercial insight and leadership to our Finance function.Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, you will lead financial reporting, governance, compliance and operational finance across a complex, multi-entity group.
This influential role combines rigorous financial control with forward-looking analysis, enabling sound executive decisions and supporting sustainable performance and growth.This is a full-time, Brisbane CBD-based position requiring regular on-site attendance.
It offers an experienced finance leader the opportunity to operate with broad organisational visibility and make a tangible enterprise-wide contribution.The MandateOwn accurate and timely monthly and annual financial reporting, including consolidation across the GroupLead month-end and year-end close, including balance sheet governance, intercompany accountingMaintain the integrity of the Group's financial records, accounting policies, reconciliations and internal control environmentOversee statutory financial reporting and compliance with Australian Accounting StandardsLead the Group's budgeting, forecasting and management reporting cycle, partnering with executives and operational leaders to strengthen financial accountability and performanceOversee the preparation and timely lodgement of BAS, FBT, payroll tax and other regulatory reporting obligations,



working with external advisers where appropriateDirect external audit processes and manage relationships with auditors and key advisersTranslate financial performance into clear commercial insights, identifying risks, opportunities and actions for executive decision-makingProvide day-to-day leadership of the finance function, developing team capability, accountability and a disciplined, collaborative performance cultureSupport the Chief Financial Officer on strategic initiatives, acquisitions and business integrations, and play a lead role in finance systems and process transformation.Your CredentialsA bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related disciplineCPA, CA or equivalent professional qualificationDemonstrated senior-level experience across financial control, reporting or management accounting in a complex organisation, with readiness to take ownership of a broad financial control mandateStrong technical command of Australian Accounting Standards, financial reporting, internal controls and relevant tax and regulatory obligationsA proven record of leading close, audit, statutory reporting, budgeting, forecasting processesAdvanced Microsoft Excel capability,
