A national contractor with a strong pipeline of transport, water, renewable energy and defence infrastructure work is seeking a Senior Civil Estimator to join its national precontracts team.Working on opportunities typically valued from$50M to $500M, you will be involved in the preparation of first-principles estimates across some of Australia's largest civil infrastructure projects.
The role works closely with operational, commercial and bid teams to develop pricing, methodologies and tender submissions for major projects nationally.Key ResponsibilitiesReview tender documentation, drawings, specifications and contract requirementsPrepare detailed first-principles estimates and pricing build-upsComplete quantity take-offs and estimate verification activitiesDevelop construction methodologies and bid strategiesAssess project risks, opportunities and commercial assumptionsLead subcontractor and supplier pricing processesSupport executive tender reviews and major bid submissionsWork closely with operational teams to validate delivery methodologies and resource assumptionsMaintain estimating benchmarks,
