Based in the Brisbane CBD, they are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join their team on an initial 3-month temporary assignment with the potential to extend.What's on offer?
Initial 3-month temporary assignment with potential for extension Brisbane CBD location with occasional travel to Cairns (at the organisation's expense)Prospect to make a genuine impact within a community-focused organisationSupportive and purpose-driven executive leadership teamDynamic work environment with strategic oversightAbout the role: Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, you will lead the organisation's financial operations, governance, and statutory reporting.
Your duties will include:Providing strategic financial advice and reporting to the CEO and Board of DirectorsLeading annual budgeting, forecasting,



and financial projectionsManaging end-of-month and end-of-year financial statements and coordinating external auditsPreparing and lodging statutory returns including BAS and FBT Managing grant funding acquittals and compliance with funding bodiesOverseeing payroll processes, controls, and compliance frameworksReviewing and strengthening internal financial controls across the organisationAbout you:Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related disciplineDemonstrated experience in financial management, budgeting, and statutory reportingPrior experience within the not-for-profit or government sector is highly regardedStrong accounting and payroll systems experience (MYOB preferred)Advanced Microsoft Excel skillsHigh level of cultural awareness and respect for diverse community servicesAbility to hold or obtain a valid Blue Card and National Police CheckFull and unlimited Australian working rightsThe ability to commence within the next weekAt Randstad, we are passionate about providing equal employment opportunities and embracing diversity to the benefit of all.
