Embark on a new adventure in the insurance industry and join a well known with this current SME Underwriting role.
The Underwriter is responsible for assessing submissions and making underwriting decisions across a defined product portfolio within established guidelines, appetite and delegated authority levels.
This is a permanent full-time role based in Sydney.
As an Underwriter, your duties will include, but are not limited to:
To develop and underwrite new business and renewal retention
Manage client relationships
Increase company's market share through building new and existing relationships
Apply appropriate pricing, terms and conditions and coverage structures in accordance with sound underwriting principals.
Be able to effectively promote the company and products to the broker market
Attend industry events on behalf of the business
Salary up to $100,000 + Super
Drive the company brand in client facing role
Proven career progression with senior opportunities
