Workforce International are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Mechanical Fitter to join our clients maintenance team on afternoon shift, at their Red Hill Quarry.
The successful candidate will be an essential part of their operations, helping to ensure plant reliability and efficiency through preventative maintenance and quick response to breakdowns.
Hours: AFTERNOON SHIFT
Responsibilities:
Conduct scheduled servicing and inspections on conveyor systems and fixed plant assets
Complete pulley replacements, bearing change-outs, and general mechanical repairs
Assist with plant start-ups and react swiftly to breakdowns to minimise downtime
Perform jaw and cone crusher change-outs and repairs
Support with scrapper installations,



maintenance, and fixed plant inspections
Carry out HME repairs as required
Maintain a solid focus on safety and compliance with site procedures
Requirements:
Must Have -
Trade qualifications - Mechanical Fitter (Certificate III or equivalent)
Confined Space Entry certification
Working at Heights certification
Current C-Class Driver's Licence
Construction White Card
Own reliable transport
Ability to pass a full pre-employment medical and national police check
