An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a senior lawyer with corporate and operations experience to join the legal leadership team of a leading ASX 100 mining company on an initial 16-month contract.
There is strong potential for the contract to be extended for the right lawyer.This is a broad, hands-on role for a commercially minded lawyer who enjoys partnering with the business and being close to decision-making.
The position has a strong focus on corporate, projects and operational legal matters, supporting major strategic initiatives across a growing business.Working closely with a highly regarded General Counsel & Company Secretary, you will advise on a diverse range of matters including commercial contracting, corporate transactions, debt financing, offtake arrangements, joint ventures, project development and business-critical operational issues.As the company moves towards a significant FID milestone, this role offers the chance to play a key part in shaping and supporting the next phase of growth.A snapshot of responsibilities - no two days the same:Lead and support corporate matters, strategic projects and financing initiativesNegotiate and advise on complex commercial/corporate agreements, including offtake, procurement,
