The City of Sale is an ideal access point for the magnificent Gippsland Lakes, 90 Mile Beach and the Victorian Alps.CGH provides acute care as part of an integrated service delivery model across Wellington Shire and beyond.
The service provides beds across three campuses (Sale, Maffra and Heyfield).
Acute services include a full time emergency department, critical care unit, neonatal Special Care unit, four operating theatres, day procedure unit, oncology and dialysis services in addition to general medical services and sub-acute services including rehabilitation.CGH is also a leading teaching hospital, affiliated with Monash University's School of Rural Health and provides placements and clinical experience for students from a range of different health disciplines.About the RoleAt CGH, graduate Registered Nurses undertake 3 clinical rotations over 12 months, consisting of:Aged Care/Sub Acute Rotation: Wilson Lodge, Maffra District Hospital, and Heyfield Hospital IncorporatedAcute Rotation: Medical Ward, Surgical WardSpecialty Rotation :



Emergency Department, Critical Care Unit, Paediatrics, Dialysis, District Nursing, and Operating Suites)Please note: Our Aged Care/Sub-acute rotations do include the possibility of rotations at our external sites – Maffra District Hospital & Heyfield Hospital IncorporatedOur graduate program includes dedicated educational support and a Graduate Coordinator.
