procedures and Aged Care legislative framework.Key Result AreasIncident / accident-free work environmentResident satisfaction in relation to care deliveredHigh quality of care delivered as per the Care PlanQuality risk managementBusiness outcomesResponsibilitiesProvision of quality care as per Care Plan and legal requirementsDelivery of person-centred care which is appropriate, of a high standard withinestablished guidelines and procedures which meets the needs of residents and theorganisationMaintenance of a sound level of clinical expertiseAccurate and timely recording of care given in relevant documentation e.g. progress notes and observation chartsReport changes in resident conditions to Registered Nurse in a timely mannerParticipation in Accreditation, WH&S; and Infection Control programsWhat We're Looking ForQualificationsDiploma of NursingCurrent practicing certificate with Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency (AHPRA)Post graduate qualification relevant to the role and function of this positionExperienceBroad clinical background as an Enrolled Nurse in a Community or Residential AgedCare setting highly regardedBroad experience working within WH&S;, Quality and Environmental legislativeframeworksDemonstrated understanding of the Aged Care legislative framework, Aged Care Quality Standards with Aged Care sector and Residential Care experience preferredEssential skillsClinical skillsMentoring of staffExperience working with persons living with dementia preferredExperience in pain management, palliative care desirableApplicants must have full working rights in Australia.
