ABOUT THE ROLE This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Collections Officer to hit the ground running in a busy, high-volume environment.
Reporting to the Collections Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting customers with overdue accounts, negotiating suitable repayment arrangements and contributing to overall collections performance.
Working alongside an energetic and driven team, you'll be trusted to manage customer interactions with empathy and professionalism while achieving collection targets.




DUTIES Conduct outbound calls to recover overdue paymentsNegotiate and establish suitable repayment plans with customersManage inbound enquiries from customers in arrearsSend collections documentation and correspondence as requiredMaintain accurate customer records and account notesInvestigate account information and assist with skip tracing activities where requiredBuild positive customer relationships while achieving collection outcomesWork efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Skip tracing experience required.Previous collections experience within a financial services or related environmentStrong negotiation, communication and conflict-resolution skillsAbility to manage high call volumes and work to targetsExcellent attention to detail and administrative skillsStrong problem-solving abilities and customer-focused approachAbility to learn quickly and adapt to changing priorities BENEFITS Competitive hourly rate of $35-$40 per hour + superImmediate start opportunityConvenient Sydney CBD locationGain experience with a well-established financial services organisationCollaborative and supportive team environmentPotential contract extension for robust performers
