We're looking for a proactive and customer-focused Senior Parts Interpreter to join our team.
This is a hands‐on role where you'll support customers over the phone and at the counter, identify the right parts for their needs, process orders and help keep our parts operation running efficiently.What you'll be doingInterpret and identify the correct parts for customers via phone and counter enquiriesProvide knowledgeable, friendly and productive customer serviceProcess parts orders, requisitions, invoices and inventory documentationOrder parts from suppliers and follow up availability and deliveryProcess cash and credit transactions accuratelyCoordinate returned, defective and warranty parts in line with company proceduresAssist with stock control,



stocktakes and maintaining accurate system recordsIdentify sales opportunities and recommend relevant parts and accessoriesPromote current specials and support parts merchandisingBuild positive relationships with customers, colleagues and suppliersAssist with dispatch, warehouse and other parts activities when requiredWork safely and in accordance with company policies and proceduresWhat we're looking forPrevious experience in parts interpreting, preferably within trucks, heavy vehicles or a related industryStrong knowledge of vehicle parts and componentsGreat customer service and communication skillsA confident and professional telephone mannerGood computer skills and experience using parts or inventory systemsStrong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately in a busy environmentA practical, solutions-focused approachRenyolds/ ERA computer system experience an advantage but not necessaryCurrent fork lift licence an advantage but not necessaryAbout youYou'll enjoy working with customers and being part of a busy, hands‐on team.
