Are you an experienced Systems Engineer looking for a new contract prospect?
We currently have a requirement based in Canberra but could also consider a remote worker with adhoc travel for an initial 6-month contract.
This role will work within the SATCOM domain of Defence and be responsible for conducting detailed design and development of engineering documentation.Due to the nature of this project candidates will require an active NV1 clearance.ResponsibilitiesPerformed Verification & Validation of Power, Communications and IT equipmentDerive system requirements,



define the test requirements and participate in system design and system requirements reviewsProvided Engineering guidance for maintenance teams across AustraliaAssisted engineering and production teams with system testing and technical troubleshootingDevelopment of engineering documentationConduct requirements analysisApplicants MUST hold Australian Citizenship and hold a current NV1 Clearance.Skills & Experience required:Bachelor of EngineeringExperience with design and development of electronic systems within a Defence environmentExperience with SATCOM / Communication systemsFirm understanding of design definition, design development and verificationKnowledge of Defence project life cycleMeet ITAR compliancy
