CompanyOur client is a privately owned, high-end building products supplier that has renowned product and has already established itself as an industry leader in the decorative surfaces for the kitchen and bathroom industry in Australia.
This role is critical for the continual growth and development of the company's expansion plans.
They continue to introduce new and innovative products to gain further market share within Australia.
RoleAs the Area Manager, your primary responsibility is to maintain and develop a territory consisting of Kitchen Retailers, Stone Masons & Cabinet Makers in the Canberra and Regional NSW area.
Your role will bepredominantly focused on maintaining and developing your established territory of accounts.
You will ideally possess a savvy approach to sales, which will see you unearth new opportunities within the Residential Construction and retail space.
This opportunity would suit a dynamic and career driven salesperson that has good exposure to the building products and/or construction sales space and is looking to grow with a business long term.




Skills & ExperienceWe are seeking applicants who can demonstrate the following skills and experience;Strong presentation skills with an ambitious & outgoing personalityExperience in Stone and/or Decorative Surfaces is highly desired but not essentialExisting relationships with at least one the desired customer segments in the description above is a bonus but not essentialExperience within building products/construction sales is a must haveProven track record in sales and overachieving targetsGood technical understanding of the construction industry in generalHigh degree of energy, be self-motivated and desire to be rewarded for your hard effortsStable track record of employment and desire to move into a long-term career role
