MetSolv is seeking a Quality Measuring Instrument Technician for a 2/2 rotational position in Australia.The position will be embedded in the maintenance team with responsibilities for the maintenance of the measurement and analytical systems.
This involves the existing equipment and the recent equipment which is been installed as part of a recent upgrade.The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of Custody and Allocation Gas/Oil/Condensate Metering Systems and analytical equipment used in oil and gas production.QMI experience is essential, on the job training and education will be provided.TECNICAL REQUIREMENTSProven record of ability to calibrate instrumentation associated with Metering SystemsProven experience with maintenance, validations and calibrations of Gas Chromatographs and process analysersKnowledge and understanding of standards, codes, specifications and statutory requirements associated with design and operation of Fiscal and Custody Transfer Metering SystemsAbility to write and communicate reports and prepare test calibration resultsAn understanding of the technical issues involved in the processing of natural gas and crude oilRESPONSIBILITIESInspection and Accuracy Verification Testing (AVT) of meters as neededMaintain measurement calibration data and historical recordsAssist in the investigation and resolution of mis-measurement situationsMaintain meter factor trend data and perform and/or coordinate measurement equipment calibrationsInstall, calibrate,



and maintain measurement equipment such as flow meters, pressure transmitter, temperature sensors, flow computers, gas analysers and other measuring devicesMaintaining Analyser houses and shelters.
