As theLoading Dock Master, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient management of the site's loading dock operations, a critical operational hub where logistics, traffic management, contractor access, safety and security converge.About the Role & LocationBased at Atlassian Central, the world's tallest hybrid timber tower, in Sydney's Tech Central precinct beside Central Station.
This 39-storey landmark blends mass timber with cutting-edge smart building technology and targets a 50% cut in embodied carbon.You will act as the central point of control for all loading dock activities, ensuring deliveries, contractors and service providers can operate safely, efficiently and in compliance with site requirements.Pay: Level 4 plus Attractive Site & First Aid Allowances!
Employment Type: Full-Time Position availableShift length: 12 hour day shiftKey ResponsibilitiesLoading Dock OperationsControl authorised vehicle access into and out of the loading dockVerify delivery bookings and access approvalsEnforce allocated delivery time slotsCoordinate couriers, contractors, tenants, removals and fit-out activitiesEnsure unauthorised vehicles do not enter controlled areasTurntable ManagementOperate and oversee vehicle turntable movements following training and certificationMaintain safe vehicle and pedestrian separation at all timesCoordinate vehicle entry,



unloading and departure activitiesIdentify and elevate faults, hazards and unsafe conditionsImplement contingency procedures during operational disruptionsFit-Out & Construction SupportSupport enhanced security and operational controls during fit-out and construction activitiesCoordinate competing operational, construction and tenant delivery requirementsCollaborate with site security teams and operational stakeholders during peak activity periodsTraffic & Logistics CoordinationWork closely with building management, contractors and tenant representativesMonitor traffic conditions impacting site accessMinimise congestion and unsafe vehicle movementsApply site Traffic Management Plans and escalation proceduresSupport the safe interface between loading dock operations and surrounding public infrastructureContractor & Delivery ManagementManage delivery bookings through electronic booking platforms such as Vaya.Verify contractor credentials, inductions and authorisationsMaintain accurate operational records and logsEscalate compliance concerns and operational risksAbout YouTo be successful in this role, you will bring:Previous experience in loading dock operations, logistics coordination, facilities management or traffic managementProven ability to manage drivers,
