An Associate Lawyer role in a small, busy Brisbane law firm.
You'll run your own files with support and work directly with the Principal, gaining real client contact and responsibility from day one.Key responsibilitiesRun commercial and property matters, including contracts, leases, business sales and conveyancingRun disputes and debt recovery matters, from letters of demand through to Magistrates and District Court and QCATAct in family law matters, including property settlements, parenting arrangements and financial agreementsAdvise employers and employees on contracts, terminations, workplace disputes and Fair Work mattersAdvise clubs, athletes and sporting bodies on contracts, governance, integrity and disciplinary mattersAbout youAdmitted in Queensland and holding a practising certificate2-5 years' PQE in one or more of commercial, litigation,



family or employment lawAn interest in sports law (experience a plus)Robust drafting skills and attention to detailCommercial judgment and a practical, client-focused approachAble to manage your own workload in a small-firm environmentClose mentoring from an experienced PrincipalVaried work, including sports law, with a clear path to Senior AssociateMilton office, close to the CBD and public transportAbout usOur client is a Brisbane law firm based in Milton.
