We are seeking a highly experienced Structural and Civil Engineer to join our office and take a leading role in shaping high quality outcomes for our clients.
The role offers a diverse mix of structural and civil engineering projects across residential, commercial and rural developments.
You'll have the opportunity to influence project direction, mentor junior staff and contribute to the growth and evolution of the team.
With autonomy to see projects through from concept to completion, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering innovative, practical solutions while helping drive growth within the company.Key responsibilitiesDeliver structural and civil designs from concept through to construction and completionPrepare and review designs in line with Australian Standards and client requirementsProvide senior technical input across multiple projectsLiaise with clients, architects, builders and consultants throughout deliveryConduct site inspections including footings, slabs, retaining walls, framing, and steelworkManage design and construction issues as they ariseMentor junior engineers and support drafting staff as requiredMaintain quality,



WHS and design compliance across all projectsAbout youBachelor of Engineering (Civil)20+ years' relevant consulting experience including sign off of projects under own RPEQ.Experience in residential and commercial structural engineering projectsExperience in civil engineering including earthworks, drainage, stormwater and road design, with experience in Drains, PC Sewer and 12DStrong design, site and construction support experienceProficiency in structural design software including Tekla Structural Designer, IdeaStatica, Design-in Hyne as well as documentationAutoCAD proficiency is advantageousExcellent communication skills and a positive, proactive approach to work and problem solvingRPEQ and NSW registrationPermanent resident status is required for this positionProfessional development and further education supportWork-life balance with adaptable Full-Time Equivalence (FTE) options of 0.8, 0.9, or 1.0Ability to purchase up to 3 weeks of additional annual leave each yearAbout usWe are a growing, multidisciplinary consultancy providing civil and structural engineering, town planning and environmental services across the Southern Downs and surrounding regions.
