repair and maintenance of heavy mining equipmentDiagnosing and troubleshooting faults quickly and effectivelyMajor component change-outs and gearbox overhaulsWorking independently while contributing to a team of six fittersCommunicating daily with maintenance personnel and supervisorsAchieving daily and weekly maintenance targetsMaintaining high standards of safety and workmanshipWorkshop and field maintenance as requiredEquipment Fleet You will be working across a range of large-scale mining equipment including:CAT 789C & 789D Haul TrucksCAT 793C & 793D Haul TrucksCAT 777F Water CartsCAT D9 & D11 DozersCAT 854K Wheel DozersCAT 988H LoadersCAT 16M, 18M & 24M GradersHitachi EX**** ExcavatorsExperience working on large mining equipment is essential, with particular interest in candidates who have worked on D11 dozers, large haul trucks and Hitachi excavators.Site Travel Information This role is ideally suited to DIDO candidates.
Employees are responsible for arranging and funding their own travel to and from site.
