We expect some flexibility with this.Duties and responsibilitiesProviding technical support to the production teamPerforming hands-on maintenance, fault finding, repairs, and troubleshooting of plant equipmentCoordinating and assisting with breakdown maintenance to minimise downtime and maximise production outputPlanning preventative and corrective maintenance activitiesAnalysing maintenance data to identify trends and improvement opportunitiesWorking closely with production teams to optimise equipment performance and reliabilityEnsuring all maintenance work is completed safely and in compliance with company procedures and legislative requirementsManaging on call external maintenance contractorsEssential requirementsMinimum 5 years' experience in Maintenance or similar role within a manufacturing, processing, or industrial environmentTrade qualification (cert 111) in Mechanical Fitting or a related disciplineExcellent fault-finding and problem-solving skillsStrong hands-on maintenance experience with pumps, conveyers, bearings/ MIG welding, hydraulics and pneumatics.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manualsStrong organisational and planning skillsExperience managing maintenance schedules, resources, and continuous improvement initiativesCommitment to safety, quality, and operational excellenceAll applicants must be entitled to work in Australia and be prepared to do a pre-employment drug & alcohol testing if required.
