High-performing operations at our St Peters Terminal.The St Peters Terminal is a critical operational site, responsible for coordinating rail movements, managing materials, and ensuring safe and efficient day‐to‐day terminal activitiesAs a key leader on site, you will oversee daily rail operations, set clear expectations, and lead a diverse team of operators while embedding a strong safety‐led and performance‐driven culture.Reporting to the Terminals Operations Manager, you will take ownership of the protected, efficient and productive operation of the terminal, holding yourself and the team accountable for behaviours, standards and outcomes.This role will suit a solutions‐focused people leader with a strong commitment to safety and a genuine interest in building a positive, engaged and high‐performing team.
This is a permanent, full‐time chance (Monday to Friday, day shift), with potential for shift work in the future.Your day will involve:Leading, coaching and supervising employees and contractors to deliver protected and efficient operationsEnsuring full compliance with Boral's safety and environment management systems,



policies and proceduresActively influencing and role modelling a strong safety culture, where risks are identified, addressed and reportedDelivering clear and effective daily toolbox talks and completing shift handover reportsCoordinating quality control processes and stock inventoryCoordinating mechanical maintenance activities and liaising with relevant stakeholdersDriving accountability, consistency and performance standards across the teamWhat are we looking for?
Proven supervisory leadership experience in an operational or industrial environment, with a track record of fostering accountability, teamwork and a positive site cultureDemonstrated commitment to safety and safe working practicesHigh levels of accountability with strong decision‐making and follow‐throughStrong problem‐solving skills and a continuous improvement mindsetEffective communication and relationship‐building skillsWhat's on offer?
