The school comprises a number of vibrant, interdisciplinary, intellectual communities: the Department of International Relations, the Strategic and Defence Studies Centre, the Department of Political and Social Change, and the Department of Pacific Affairs.Position overviewAs a Course Coordinator (Casual Sessional Academic), you will play an key role in the delivery and coordination of teaching activities within the ANU College of Asia and the Pacific.
Working under the guidance of the Course Convenor and School academic staff, you will contribute to high-quality teaching, assessment,



and student engagement.Responsibilities may include:coordinating day-to-day course delivery activitiessupporting students through consultation and academic guidancemarking and providing timely, constructive feedback on assessment tasksattending course team meetings and moderation discussionsassisting with gradebook administration and assessment processesliaising with the Course Convenor regarding student progress and course issuessupporting quality teaching and learning outcomes in accordance with College guidelinesYou will work both independently and collaboratively as part of the teaching team to foster active, evidence-based learning and help students achieve the stated learning outcomes of the course.A Casual Sessional Academic should have qualifications and/or experience recognised by the University as appropriate for the relevant discipline area.
