Your role is all about ensuring safety, providing reassurance, and creating a positive experience for everyone at the crossing.You'll:Assist children and families to safely cross at designated school crossings and traffic lightsMonitor traffic and supervise crossing areas during set morning and afternoon shift timesMaintain a high level of awareness, professionalism, and visibility at all timesReport any incidents, near misses, or safety concerns promptlyBe flexible to travel to various crossings across the municipality as neededWhat We're Looking ForA calm, confident, and responsible individual who enjoys interacting with the communityA current Working with Children Check (Employee) and National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)A good understanding of road and pedestrian safetyFlexibility and reliability — especially during school term timesExperience in traffic control, child supervision,
