The Kitchen Hand plays a vital role in supporting the efficient and high-quality operation of the College's Food Services department, undertaking food handling, catering tasks and customer service.Key ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the cleanliness and orderliness of all kitchen and dishwashing equipment.Keep loading dock, chemical area and other areas clean and tidy.Maintain high standards of hygiene, food safety and proper storage.Assist with general food preparationMaintain a positive attitude and a solid commitment to supporting our students, boarders and staff.Demonstratestrong communicationskills to effectively liaise with colleagues.What You BringBasic Food Hygiene CertificatePrior work experience in food services industries preferred.Demonstrated ability to provide quality customer service and effective interpersonal skills.Knowledge and understanding of Workplace Health and Safety and chemical handling.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Highly developed organisational and time management skills.Commitment to the College's Christian ethos and values.About UsSt Peters Lutheran College is a Co-Educational Day and Boarding School of the Lutheran Church located on 52 acres just 7 kilometres from Brisbane CBD.
