The Role
Reporting to the SeniorLibrary Officer – Customer Services , the purpose of this position is to the purpose of this role is toparticipate in the delivery of responsive, high quality, friendly and efficientlibrary services and programs and working collaboratively with colleagues in the Arts and CultureBranch to achieve goals.

Essential Criteria – Library Assistant
Higher School CertificateExcellent public manner and ability tocommunicate well with a wide range of peopleAbility to determine customer needs andachieve quality outcomesAbility to work with adults and childrenAbility to carry out duties andresponsibilities of the position with minimum supervision on a da-to-day basisProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite andability to become skilled with unfamiliar software and technology in generalThe right to live and work in AustraliaClass C Drivers LicenceWorking with Children Check (WWCC)Successful applicants will be required toundergo background (police) checks and medical declaration
