This includes in publicised defamation cases, and litigation spanning many years.The roleWe are looking for a Legal Assistant to join us 2 to 3 days a week at our Sydney CBD office.
You will support our solicitors and costs consultants with the day to day running of matters.
Because our work is all about legal costs, a positive head for numbers matters.




Someone with accounting or bookkeeping experience will fit in well.Your work will include:Opening and closing files and keeping matters up to date in our practice management systemAnswering telephone calls and responding to client enquiriesBilling and accounts support, including invoicing, trust account records and following up paymentsManaging diaries, deadlines and court datesLiaising with clients, courts, costs assessors and other firmsGeneral administration, including document management and office supportAbout youExperience as a legal assistant or legal secretary, ideally in litigation or costsAccounting, bookkeeping or legal accounts experience is highly regardedStrong attention to detail and accuracy with numbersConfident with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, and quick to pick up new systemsClear written and spoken communicationOrganised, reliable and able to manage your own workloadWhat we offerPart time, 2 to 3 days a week, with some flexibility on which daysA supportive team environment and varied workExposure to costs law, a specialist area with strong demand, and to legal accounting and trust accountingConvenient office location in Sydney CBDRose Legal is an equal opportunity employer.
