Our team is passionate about delivering outstanding clinical care while supporting patients through life-changing dental treatment journeys.Due to continued growth, we're looking for a skilled and motivated Part-Time Dental Assistant to join our team in Denman Prospect, Canberra, working 3-4 days per week.The RoleAs a Dental Assistant, you'll play an important role in supporting our clinicians, creating a seamless patient experience, and helping ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the clinic.Working closely with our dentists and wider clinical team, you'll assist across a variety of procedures while maintaining high standards of patient care, organisation,



and infection control.Key ResponsibilitiesAssisting clinicians during a range of dental proceduresPreparing treatment rooms and patients for clinical treatmentTaking X-rays and dental impressionsMaintaining accurate patient records and clinical documentationSterilising instruments and ensuring infection control standards are maintainedSupporting patients with post-treatment care instructionsAssisting with patient flow and general clinical coordinationMaintaining a clean, organised, and professional clinical environmentSupporting the wider team to ensure a positive patient experienceAbout YouYou're skilled, team-oriented, and genuinely passionate about patient care.
You thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment and take pride in providing high-quality support to both patients and clinicians.You'll bring:Previous experience as a Dental AssistantKnowledge of dental terminology and clinical proceduresStrong communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent attention to detail and organisational skillsA proactive and supportive approach within a team environmentA strong understanding of patient confidentiality and professionalismHighly regarded:Experience within implant or surgical dentistryKnowledge of dental practice management softwareConfidence taking X-rays and impressionsCertificate III in Dental Assisting or equivalent experience
