This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in delivering outstanding service across all aspects of our dining and take away operations.
As an all-rounder, you will be the backbone of our hospitality offering, supporting both our front-of-house and back-of-house operations with flexibility, enthusiasm, and a customer-first mindset.
This role is based on-site at our Potts Point location and offers the chance to be part of a dynamic team in a fast-paced, rewarding environment.Key responsibilitiesService to the guests with accuracy, speed, and professionalismProviding friendly, efficient and attentive customer service to all guestsTaking food and beverage orders and ensuring accurate processing and deliveryClearing and resetting tables promptly and maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the venueOperating point-of-sale (POS) systems and handling cash transactions accuratelySupporting the preparation of the venue for service and closing procedures at the end of shiftsAdhering to all health, safety and hygiene regulations,



including responsible service of alcoholWorking collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak and quiet periodsContributing to a positive team culture and supporting colleagues when neededWhat we're looking forStrong knowledge of responsible service of alcohol practices and compliance with local licensing lawsStrong knowledge about food offering and productsExcellent customer service skills with a genuine passion for hospitalityAbility to work efficiently under pressure and during busy service periodsFlexibility to work full-time hours, including evenings, weekends and public holidays as requiredProficiency in using point-of-sale systems and basic IT skillsPhysical capability to stand for extended periods and lift/carry items safelyStrong communication and teamwork abilities with a positive attitudeAttention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and food safety standardsReliability and punctualityPreferred: Experience with cocktail mixing, wine knowledge, or food service would be advantageousWhat we offerPIÑA is committed to supporting the wellbeing and development of our team members.
