We are seeking a skilled and passionate Baker to join our team at our Bibra Lake location in Western Australia.
As a Baker, you will be responsible for producing high-quality baked goods that meet our exacting standards and delight our customers.
This role is pivotal to our operation, as the quality and consistency of our baked products directly reflect our commitment to excellence.
You will work in a fast-paced bakery environment, utilising traditional baking techniques combined with modern practices to create an array of breads, and other baked items.
Key responsibilities
Preparing and mixing dough and batter according to established recipes and specifications
Operating bakery equipment including ovens, mixers, moulders and other machinery safely and efficiently
Shaping, proofing and baking bread, rolls, pastries and other baked goods to consistent quality standards
Monitoring baking times and temperatures to ensure products are baked to perfection
Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and safety in accordance with health and safety regulations
Managing inventory of baking ingredients and supplies, reporting shortages as needed
Cleaning and maintaining bakery equipment and work areas to ensure a secure and sanitary environment
Collaborating with team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines
What we're looking for
Formal qualification or apprenticeship in baking or pastry making,



or equivalent demonstrated experience in a bakery setting
Proven experience as a Baker, with competency in producing a range of bread, pastries and cakes to professional standards
Sound knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and the science behind fermentation and dough development
Ability to follow recipes precisely whilst maintaining flexibility to adapt to changing requirements
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to consistent quality and presentation of products
Physical fitness and stamina to perform demanding manual tasks, including lifting heavy ingredients and standing for extended periods
Excellent time management skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet production deadlines
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices, with certification in food handling preferred
Reliable and punctual with a willingness to work early morning and weekend shifts as required
Strong teamwork and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a busy environment
Experience with modern bakery equipment and systems is advantageous
