We're looking for a warm, confident salesperson to join our team, help our patients find the right eyewear, and deliver the kind of personal service the big chains can't.No experience in optical?
Perfect.
If you're a natural with people and you genuinely enjoy helping them, we'll teach you everything about the products, the lenses, and the eyewear.
What we can't teach is a outstanding attitude and the confidence to connect with someone the moment they walk in.
That part is on you, and it's what we're really hiring for.What you'll be doingWelcoming patients and customers and making them feel looked afterHelping people choose frames, lenses and sunglasses that suit themGuiding customers through the sale from start to finishSupporting the practice with day to day retail tasksLearning the optical side of the business as you go, with full training and supportWhat we're looking forReliability above all.




Friday and Saturday are our busiest trading days, so we need someone we can count on to show up and bring their best, every weekConfidence and genuine enjoyment in dealing with people face to faceA natural ability to build rapport and guide a saleRetail or sales experience is a plus.
Experience in medical, optical or pharmacy retail is a bonus but absolutely not requiredMinimum of 1+ years retail or sales experience requiredSomeone local to Leichhardt or the Inner West, who can get to us easilyAustralian citizenship is required for this positionThe offerPart time to start: Friday and SaturdayA strong likelihood of a third day in the short termA clear path to full time as the role growsFull training provided, and the chance to build real skills in a healthcare professionIf you're looking for a role that fits around your life, lets you keep learning, and puts you in front of people every day, we'd love to hear from you.Shortlisted applicants will be asked to complete a short online assessment as part of the process.
