Established in Finland in ****, Peikko operates internationally across the construction and manufacturing sectors.We are looking for a reliable and motivated Pick & Packer / Machine Operator to join our warehouse and production team in Yatala.The RoleThis is a hands‐on and varied position combining warehouse, pick & pack and manufacturing duties.
The successful applicant will assist with preparing customer orders for dispatch while also operating production machinery and supporting day‐to‐day manufacturing activities.The role would suit someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in doing things correctly and safely, and is willing to learn different machines and production processes.Key ResponsibilitiesPick and pack customer orders accurately and efficientlyCheck quantities, product specifications and order requirements prior to dispatchPrepare, label and organise orders for collection and deliveryOperate production machinery and equipment safelyComplete production orders in accordance with required specificationsCarry out basic dimensional and quality checks on finished productsUse hand tools, power tools and production equipment as requiredAssist with loading and unloading materials and finished productsComplete required production and warehouse documentationMaintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse and production areaReport any safety, quality,



equipment or production issues to the supervisorFollow company WHS procedures, Safe Operating Procedures and PPE requirementsAssist other warehouse and production activities as requiredWhat We're Looking ForIdeally, you will have:Previous warehousing, pick & pack, manufacturing or production experienceMachine operating experience, although training can be providedA current forklift licence, or previous forklift experience, highly regardedExperience using hand tools, power tools or production equipmentGood attention to detail and ability to complete orders accuratelyA practical and mechanically minded approachGood communication and teamwork skillsA solid work ethic and reliable attendanceAbility to perform manual handling and work in a physical warehouse/manufacturing environmentA strong commitment to workplace safety and qualityCurrent Australian driver's licence preferredValid rights to work in AustraliaWhy Join Peikko Australia?
