With this in mind we are looking for an experiencedMaintenanceHandyperson who will ensure minimal downtime in the equipment breakdowns, ensure equipment is serviced regularly, and who will ensure the facilitymaintenanceis kept at the highest level .
The position will require you to effectively maintain and service all departments of Genesis fitness clubs across the Newcastle and Hunter area.
You will be tasked at ensuring the building and equipment is maintained and operates at all times and that downtime is kept to an absolute minimum.We are looking for a trustworthy,



energetic individual who can work unsupervised with the support and guidance of our Regional Fitness Manager.
Some key responsibilities of this hands on role are:Maintenanceof fitness/ gym equipmentMaintenance of public areas, furnishings, and fixturesAir conditioning filter cleaningMinor building works such as: patching and painting, minor alterationsUrgently repair any WHS hazards to make safeSkills and ExperiencePrevious experience in general buildingmaintenanceA general mechanical knowledge so we can train you on equipmentmaintenanceproceduresWell-developed communication and organisational skillsDemonstrated ability to prioritise tasksDemonstrated ability to work with limited supervisionDriver's LicenceNational Police CheckWorking with Children CheckGenesis is a place where we can all be ourselves and succeed on merit.
