Completes assigned tasks with a close to moderate degree of supervision.In this role, you will be using standard operating procedures to complete well-defined activities to develop the technical skills required to perform routine tasks.
You will need to understand how these assigned tasks relate to other jobs and be able to exchange information in routine situations within your workgroup.It is your responsibility to use existing procedures to resolve straightforward problems with limited opportunities to independently modify procedures or work processes.
You are accountable for managing your assigned tasks and the accuracy of your own work.
You will receive close to moderate level of supervision and guidance in this role.ResponsibilitiesLoads and unloads the vessels under supervision of the panel operator and the team coordinator of the groupResponsible for shipping paperworkInvestigates defects in a structured way and follows upEnsures equipment is clean and pressure free on time for maintenanceSupports activities from contractor firms on siteEnsures logistics activities and performance are aligned with department and business goalsUses troubleshooting skills to resolve process, product quality, safety, and environmental problemsPerforms minor maintenance repairs, improvements and preventative maintenance utilizing appropriate procedures, processes and disciplinesUses knowledge and skills to make improvements in warehouse and load rack performance and Operating DisciplineActs as Dow focal point for all contract operations in the respective logistics area, including: Prioritizing daily tasks, providing direction on facility operation, and escalating issues to contract supervisionQualificationsRequired education: associate technical or administrative degreeExperience: 0-2 yearsYour SkillsAct upon safety requirementsTeamwork, taking initiative, time managementTechnical proficiency in use of computer applications and Dow policies and proceduresAs part of our dedication to inclusion, Dow is committed to equal opportunities in employment.
