With three manufacturing sites, 29 service branches, and specialized engineering, design, and fabrication facilities, we support a workforce of over 1,300 employees dedicated to innovation and excellence.About The RoleOur service team in Gladstone is now looking for an experienced Belt Splicer to join on a permanent full-time basis working on shutdowns, conveyor installation, and general belt repairs and maintenance around the Gladstone region.This role reports to the Service Manager and its responsibilities include but not limited to,Belt splicing, repairs, maintenance and installationsGeneral conveyor maintenance i.e. identifying common belt damage/faults and determine method of repair,A strong commitment to safety and quality of workRoster & Conditions5/2 roster, Monday-Friday, no underground workMinimum 40 hours week, permanent positionOvertime opportunities built into shiftAbout youProven experience and knowledge of fabric,



steel cord and solid woven splicing and installationsAbility to identify common belt damage/faults and determine method of repair; general conveyor maintenance experienceExperience operating mechanical conveyor belt handling equipmentMine site experience will be highly regardedWillingness to work outside of hours as requiredCertificate II or III in Polymer Processing, whilst not essential, would be advantageousDogging or Rigging ticket (desirable)Sound communication and interpersonal skillsCurrent/valid Forklift ticket and Driver's Licence (MR- preferred)Unlimited working rights in AustraliaWhat's in it for you?
