A rare opportunity is available for an experienced Paralegal ready to join our boutique, inner-city law firm on a part-time basis.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a paralegal or law clerk in a law firm practicing in property law, commercial law, and/or wills and estates.You will have a hands‐on understanding of conveyancing matters and be looking to build on your existing experience and broaden your knowledge of property and commercial law in a supportive and qualified environment.Key responsibilitiesPerform all paralegal administrative tasks (filing, time recording, invoicing and receipting, and general office duties)Reporting directly to solicitorsLiaise with clients over the telephoneDraft correspondence, letters and documents from precedents and under solicitor supervision as necessaryArrange appointments and conferences between clients and practitionersManage incoming and outgoing mailUndertake A - Z conveyancing including data entry and critical date/diary management, AML/CTF compliance and verification of client identity, conducting and reviewing searches, obtaining instructions from clients, correspondence with clients, agents, lenders and other firms, calculation and preparation of settlement figures, and arranging and attending to settlements, stamping, titles office lodgements, court lodgements,



and other government departments when necessaryPerform any other duties as requiredAbout youPrior experience as a paralegal or law clerk in a law firm practicing in property law, commercial law, and/or wills and estatesMust have experience in conveyancing file managementDemonstrated experience in a highly focused client service environmentMust have experience using PEXADemonstrated skills in Microsoft Office Suite and document management systemsDedication to providing excellence in client serviceExcellent communication and organisational skills with a proven ability to manage competing deadlinesJP or C-Dec qualification would be advantageousAbout usHogarth Law provides legal advice built on experience and integrity and practises predominantly in the areas of Property Law, Commercial Law, Wills and Estates and Immigration.
