We build with precision, back it with reliability, and always put quality workmanship first.Our order book is growing, so we're adding an experienced Switchboard Wirer / Assembler to our production team.About the roleYou'll assemble and wire switchboards from start to finish, working from GA drawings, single-line diagrams and wiring schematics.
Every board that leaves our workshop needs to meet our quality standards, and you'll be part of making sure it does.What you'll be doingReading and working from GA drawings, single-line diagrams and wiring schematicsMounting and installing circuit breakers, switchgear, meters, contactors, relays and DIN rail components in enclosuresRunning, terminating, crimping and labelling control and power cabling to drawingsFabricating busbar, including cutting, bending,



drilling and fitting copper busbar systemsDoing quality checks and pre-dispatch inspections so every board matches the drawingsFinding and fixing defects during assemblyKeeping your work area clean, organised and safeWhat we're looking forProven experience wiring or assembling switchboards, distribution boards or control panels (electrical licence is not essential)Confidence reading electrical drawings and wiring diagramsSkill with hand and power tools, crimpers and busbar equipmentStrong attention to detail and pride in neat, accurate workAbility to work on your own or as part of a teamReliability, a good work ethic and transparent communicationBonus points for knowledge of AS/NZS *****, AS/NZS **** or the Victorian Service & Installation Rules, but it isn't essentialWhat we offer$***** per hour + super, depending on experiencePaid overtimePermanent full-time role, Monday to FridayImmediate startA modern, organised workshop in Carrum DownsThe chance to work on a wide range of projects
