You'll be joining a high-performing finance team and will need to be comfortable getting across the business quickly and working with a high degree of autonomy.The RoleWorking closely with senior finance and business stakeholders, your responsibilities will include:Supporting month-end close and preparing and validating management reporting across business units, states and disciplinesReviewing revenue, WIP, pre-bills, credit notes, recoverable costs and supporting reconciliationsExtracting and structuring data from SunSystems and TM1 for forecasts, budgets, reporting packs and leadership requestsMaintaining forecast models and analysing headcount, FTE, utilisation, productivity, margins and controllable costsInvestigating material movements, coding issues, data anomalies and reporting discrepanciesSupporting budgeting and forecasting activitiesAssisting with audit samples,



general ledger extracts and supporting documentationIdentifying opportunities to improve reporting and finance processesProviding accurate and commercially helpful information to senior stakeholdersAbout YouTo be successful, you will bring:A background in commercial finance, management accounting, FP&A; or senior finance analysisStrong understanding of management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, revenue and WIPExcellent data interrogation, reconciliation and problem-solving skillsThe ability to work independently, manage competing deadlines and become productive quicklyExperience within property, engineering, professional services, consulting or another project-based environment would be highly regardedThe OpportunityThis role would suit an experienced commercial finance professional who enjoys getting into the detail, understanding what is driving the numbers and providing meaningful analysis to the business.The position is being recruited as a 4–6 month temporary assignment and should be viewed as such.
