Payroll & Accounts Officer role | Narangba location | $80,000 - $90,000 + SuperYour new companyAn established organisation based in Narangba is seeking an experienced Payroll & Accounts Officer to join its finance team.
This is a varied position combining end-to-end payroll responsibilities with accounts payable, reconciliations and general bookkeeping duties.
The role offers the opportunity to take ownership of payroll while supporting the broader finance function.Your new roleReporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for:Maintaining employee payroll records and leave balancesProcessing fortnightly payroll for employeesInterpreting and applying the award, including penalties, allowances, overtime and leaveManaging payroll compliance requirements including superannuation,



payroll tax Responding to payroll queries in a professional and confidential mannerProcessing accounts payable invoices and reconciling supplier statementsReviewing and reconciling company cards Assisting with general finance duties as requiredWhat you'll need to succeedTo be successful in this position, you will ideally have previous experience in a combined payroll and finance role, with strong knowledge of payroll processing and legislation.
Experience interpreting Modern Awards, would be highly regarded.
