Chandler Macleod is seeking Production Chefs who can bring expertise and consistency to our large‐scale client's airline food production operations.
About the Role As an Airline Production Chef, you will prepare high‐quality dishes across a variety of Asian and Western cuisines — tailored for airline passengers in both Economy and Premium cabins.
Working in a fast‐paced production kitchen, you'll ensure every dish meets strict taste, presentation, and food‐safety standards.
This is initially a casual position (full-time hours) with annualised earnings ranging between $82K - $88K p/a.
Permanent employment opportunities are considered following the successful completion of the first six months.
Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and cook authentic dishes in a bulk cooking production environmentEnsure consistency in taste, quality, portioning, and presentationMaintain strict food‐safety compliance (HACCP and Airline Protocols)Follow recipes for mass production without compromising flavourContribute to quality control and tasting sessions What You'll BringCertificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery or Trade Qualification in AustraliaMinimum 5 years' experience as a ChefExperience in hot/cold meal production, batch cooking,
