DescriptionWe have an opportunity for a Site Engineer based at Mango Hill, Queensland to join our Energy & Utilities Water team, supporting the successful delivery of construction projects across South East Queensland.Working closely with Project Managers, Project Engineers, Supervisors, subcontractors and clients, you will provide technical expertise and support the safe, timely and quality delivery of projects.
This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with water or wastewater project delivery experience who is looking to further develop their career in a cooperative delivery environment.
Key responsibilities will include:Provide technical advice and support to the Project Delivery and wider program teamsSupport project controls reporting, including project performance and progressAssist with identifying potential hazardous site activities and ensuring appropriate procedures and controls are implementedSupport the design process to ensure drawings are completed and approved for construction in a timely mannerUndertake ongoing constructability and fit for purpose reviews of designsSupport the delivery of projects in accordance with project management plans, drawings and specificationsCapture and communicate lessons learnt to support continuous improvement across the wider teamAssist with reviewing subcontractor progress claims, extensions of time and variationsSupport negotiations and the engagement of suppliers and subcontractorsBuild effective relationships with clients, subcontractors and key delivery stakeholdersChampion Zero Harm through proactive safety leadership and effective implementation of safety standards and initiatives What we're looking forTo be successful in this role, you will ideally bring:An Engineering qualification – Civil, Structural,
