We're seeking Desktop and On-Road Home Assessors to join a high-performing team managing residential property claims and delivering quality repair outcomes for customers.Whether you enjoy the flexibility of desktop assessments or prefer the variety of on-road inspections, these opportunities allow you to put your building and construction knowledge to use in a technical, customer-focused role within the insurance industry.These roles are ideal for experienced assessors, estimators, builders or trade professionals looking to build on their technical expertise within a leading national organisation.About the RolesYou'll manage home insurance claims from assessment through to resolution, determining the extent of property damage, appropriate repair methods and associated costs.Depending on the role, you'll conduct virtual desktop assessments or attend properties to inspect damage, assess repair requirements and develop scopes of work.Your responsibilities will include:Assessing residential property damage through desktop tools or on-site inspectionsIdentifying the cause and extent of damage and determining appropriate repair solutionsPreparing accurate scopes of work, estimates and repair recommendationsReviewing builder and supplier quotes to ensure quality, accuracy and valueManaging claims through the assessment process within agreed timeframesWorking collaboratively with builders, repairers,



suppliers and internal claims teamsCommunicating assessment outcomes and providing support to customers throughout the claims journeyEnsuring claims decisions and repair recommendations meet quality, compliance and service standardsAbout YouYou'll bring a solid understanding of residential building practices, repair methods and property damage, along with the ability to make sound technical decisions.You'll ideally have:Experience in property assessing, building, construction, estimating or a relevant tradeAn understanding of residential construction methods, materials and repair processesThe ability to interpret technical reports, scopes of work and building quotesStrong analytical skills and attention to detailExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsA customer-focused approach, with the ability to manage competing prioritiesThe confidence to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative teamInsurance experience is highly regarded but not essential for candidates with the right technical building or construction background.Why Consider These Opportunities?
